The Town of Glocester seeks a qualified individual for the position of Tax Assessor. This is a supervisory position responsible for developing the Town’s annual tax roll in compliance with State laws. Successful applicant must have a thorough knowledge of principals & procedures of real, tangible and motor vehicle valuations for ad valorem purposes. Efficient with MS Word, Word Perfect, Excel, and Access products. Proficiency with VISION Government Solutions Tax Administration and CAMA systems is a plus. Previous experience in government employment is desirable. RI Certified Assessor (RICA) preferred or must be acquired within 3 years. Depending on level of experience, part-time may be considered.
