ACCOUNTANT — Town of Glocester, RI
Town of Glocester is seeking an accountant that reports to the Director of Finance/School Business Manager/HR Director. This position is responsible for the general ledger accounting and Uniform Chart of Accounts (UCOA) compliance. Duties include assisting with budget preparation, monitoring expenses throughout the year, the preparation of the annual audit, grant activities ensuring compliance, back-up for payroll, and completing reports for governmental agencies as required. Applicant must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Microsoft Office products. Salary range $46,000 – $52,000 based on qualifications, experience, and educational background. College degree preferred. EOP.
