 DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS
The Town of Glocester, RI seeks applicants for the position of Director of Public Works. Position is
responsible for management and supervision of the department, direction of its activities, and development of policies and procedures. Duties include, but are not limited to, directing, supervising, and
participating in the maintenance and construction of Town roads, bridges, recreational facilities, public grounds and buildings, and waste disposal facilities; and service and repair of Town vehicles and
equipment. Also responsible for, and must be available for, all winter storm management operations. Position reports to the Town Council. Responsible for an annual budget of $1.9 million and 15+ employees.
