The Glocester Tax Assessor’s Office has an opening for a full-time senior clerk. This position reports to the Assessor and is responsible for the administration and coordination of the clerical and record keeping functions of the Department. This is a responsible position designed to assist the Tax Assessor and is responsible for the operation of the office in the absence of the Assessor.

PLANNING BOARD RECORDING CLERK POSTED MARCH 8, 2018
Must be available to attend two or three weekday evening meetings per month (usually the 1st and 3rd Mondays). Duties include: taking notes at the Planning Board meetings and preparing typed minutes within 30 days of the meeting date, using the notes and tape recording; preparing written formal decisions, advisory recommendations, and related formal correspondence resulting from the Planning Board meeting; and recording minutes in the Glocester Town Hall during normal business hours. All duties including meetings, not to exceed 20 hours per month. Must have access to a personal computer and be proficient with Microsoft Word 2010.
