Town of Glocester, RI SENIOR CENTER BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Established by the Town Council October 19, 2006
Term to run concurrent with the Town Council

A five (5) member Board, appointed by the Town Council, whose mission is "serving all seniors," to enhance the quality of life for senior citizens through planning, coordinating, and monitoring the delivery of service to seniors in an efficient and effective manner. The Board of Directors (the "Board") is responsible for overseeing the operation of the Glocester Senior Center (the "Center") and to make decisions for the coordinated use of the Center and the Departments/Offices housed within the Center. The Board serves as a point of contact for requests made which involve the center, and to make decisions for the management, use, operation, and maintenance of the facility, including the installation of furniture, equipment, and storage thereof. The Board shall report to the Town Council for approvals as needed to ensure that timely decisions and coordinated efforts are made.

Town of Glocester, RI  SCITUATE FARMERS MARKET
Farmers Market will be held on Saturdays at the Village Green, Scituate from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. starting in August. Senior vouchers may be redeemed there.
